To mark the 60th anniversary of the Hamilton Gallery, the HG:60 Symposium brings together local, state and national speakers to reveal new and interesting insights on prominent items from the Hamilton Gallery collection.

The nine academics, curators and scholars who contributed to the HG:60 publication and exhibition will each present on their particular focus area, bringing their fresh perspectives and fascinating learnings to the fore.

Join gallery staff, the Trust and Friends of the Gallery for a dynamic day of spotlight talks focusing on European, Decorative, Australian and Asian Art from the collection.

Presentations and panel discussions will take place in the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre, with attendees visiting the adjacent Hamilton Gallery for lunch amidst the exhibitions.
